Sealed or electronic bids for the construction of TENNIS LOCKER ROOMS for the City of Pontotoc, MS will be received by the Board of Alderman at the City Hall, 116 N. Main St., Pontotoc, MS 38863, until October 31, 2024 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud on at 6:00 p.m. on November 5, 2024. Sealed bids will be received until the designated date and time at City Hall. Electronic bids will also be received until the designated date and time via electronic online bid submission through www.esiplans.com.
Copies of the plans and documents may be viewed and/or purchased at Engineering Solutions, Inc. plan room at www.esiplans.com.
The work shall consist of: Construction of building improvements including CMU masonry, concrete, utilities, plumbing and lighting.
Each bid submitted must be marked on the outside “Bid for: TENNIS LOCKER ROOMS for City of Pontotoc, MS. Any bid in excess of $50,000 must contain on the outside of the envelope the contractor’s current certificate of responsibility number, and no bid shall be opened or considered unless this number appears on the outside of the envelope or unless a statement is included on the outside of the envelope indicating that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000.
A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder or an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to the CITY OF PONTOTOC, on negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.
Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, materials and/or supply needs.
